Cuando Adam Smith, John Maynard Keynes, David Ricardo, Karl Marx o Friedrich Hayek escribieron sus influyentes ideas económicas, su principal interés era tratar de encontrar explicaciones a las situaciones reales del día a día, tratar de encontrar orden dentro del caos que supone una economía en funcionamiento real.

As a lecturer in a business school, it is not unusual for me to come across the refrain time and again from students that 'we want more practical teaching, not just theory'.
