All students applying for postgraduate study must provide evidence that they have met the University of Wales entry requirement, i.e. must be in possession of a University of Wales recognised British bachelor standard degree, or, must posess substantial  relevant and responsible experience. Registration on validated postgraduate schemes is dependent upon successful matriculation - further details on matriculation can be found in our student registration guidelines|  and Academic Protocol 4 .

Yes, in principle. Applications must be made to the Validation Unit in line with the Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme and guidelines for the registration of students| and require the approval of your Moderator.

External Examiners appointed by the University of Wales will approve assessments. Draft assessments should be submitted to the Validation Unit 10 weeks before assessments are given to students.

Students results are considered at a University of Wales Examining Board held wither at the end of Part One (for Master's schemes) or on completion of a level of study. Examining Boards determine the entitlement of students to receive awards and the classification of those awards.
