BA Hons in Comparative Law

Main purpose

• to develop the student's ability to use and evaluate legal reasoning, and to construct legal arguments;
• to develop the student’s ability to undertake legal research and present the results effectively;
• to develop, among others, the student’s oral and written communication, and problem solving skills;
• to provide the academic qualifications necessary for progression to the vocational stage of professional legal training.

Special features

• to provide the student with a sound grounding in the basic concepts of the laws of Czech Republic as well as in the laws of other civil law and common law countries, their development and their relationship with European Law.
