Getting started with the Online Library 

The University of Wales Online Library is a web-based library service offered to students registered on a University of Wales validated scheme|. It may also be used by collaborative centre staff involved in teaching these schemes.  

The Online Library offers subject based electronic resources. It is offered as an additional library service to supplement collaborative centres' library resources.

Library announcements!

DATAMONITOR 360:  In response to requests for market and industry information, we have added Datamonitor 360|, a comprehensive business information database containing company, country and industry reports, to our collection. To access Datamonitor 360, go to the databases tab of the business and management subject page.  

NEW ART AND COMMS DATABASES: Following positive feedback from trials of two new EBSCO databases, we are pleased to announce that the Online Library has subscribed to Art & Architecture Complete| and Communication & Mass Media Complete|. To access these databases, click the links above or go to the Art & Design or Communication Studies subject pages.

Remember that you can search all our EBSCO databases (like Business Source Complete, ATLA with ATLASerials, Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection and Religion and Philosophy Collection) and our ebook collection at the same time. Simply click on "Choose Databases" when you open any EBSCO database and select which collections you wish to search.

NEW HEALTH STUDIES EJOURNALS: The osteopathy journals International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine| and Manual Therapy| have now been added to our ejournal collection. 

EBOOKS:  Our ebook collection has moved! NetLibrary ebooks have moved to EBSCOhost, which also hosts the majority of our databases. You can access a user guide for eBooks on EBSCOhost by clicking the link here|

NEW OUP JOURNALS: The Online Library is delighted to announce a trial subscription to more than 230 Oxford University Press journals|. This prestigious collection will be available for 2011 initially and reviewed at the end of the year.
