The University Council
The University Council is the supreme governing body of the University with responsibility for overseeing the way the University carries out its work.
The majority of members of Council are independent members, whose skills, experience and expertise reflect the full range of the University’s activities. A variety of backgrounds, including the private sector, are represented with members possessing the skills and expertise necessary to ensure that the University of Wales meets its goals and ambitions and able to promote the University’s interests in local, national and international arenas.
