Held from the 1st to the 8th of August in Montgomeryshire and the Marches, The University of Wales will once again have a presence at the upcoming National Eisteddfod, sharing a stand with our merger partner the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

Although representatives from the University will be on hand all week to speak with Alumni members, the University has put aside a specific time on the afternoon of Monday the 3rd August to focus on our Alumni.

Running from 1:00-2:00pm at the University stand, it will be an opportunity for Alumni members to come and meet with University staff in an informal setting and discuss any matters or concerns, or simply reminisce about their time at University.

There is also an opportunity for Alumni members to attend a forum organised by the Classics Section of the Alumni Association prior to the University event. To be held at 12:00pm in Societies’ Pavilion 1, Dr Iestyn Daniel will lecture on Gildas and his translating. All Alumni members are welcome to attend the public meeting, and take advantage of a great opportunity to hear what promises to be a fascinating address.

The University looks forward to welcoming all Alumni members who are attending the National Eisteddfod to the stand, whether it is during the specific get-together on the Monday afternoon, or at any other time in the week.
